The Sales Register is a chronological list of all your finalized invoices โ the backbone of your accounting records.
Accessing the Sales Register
Go to Reports โ Sales Register.
What It Shows
Each row displays:
- Invoice number and date
- Customer name and GSTIN
- Taxable amount
- CGST / SGST / IGST amounts
- Total invoice amount
- Payment status
Filters
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Date range | Any custom from/to date, or presets (This Month, Last Quarter, FY 2024-25) |
| Customer | Filter by specific customer |
| Payment status | Paid / Unpaid / Overdue / Partially Paid |
| GST type | Intra-state (CGST+SGST) or Inter-state (IGST) |
Exporting
Click Export to download:
- Excel (.xlsx) โ formatted with column headers, ready for your CA or Tally import
- CSV โ for custom processing
- PDF โ printable register with your company header
Using the Sales Register for GST Filing
The sales register is the source document for:
- GSTR-1: All B2B and B2C supply details
- GSTR-3B: Summary of outward taxable supplies (Table 3.1)
- Annual Return (GSTR-9): Full year sales summary
Tip: Export the sales register for each quarter and share with your CA along with your GSTR-1 JSON for easy reconciliation.
